Kaitlyn & Luke - Celestine Brooklyn Wedding

Stunning views of the New York City skyline served as the backdrop of Luke and Kaitlyn’s wedding celebrations and the energy of the day was on a track to outshine the twinkling lights of the city’s nightscape. The couple prepared for the day at One Hotel in Brooklyn and then had their first look filled with gorgeous, silly, and love-filled moments on the hotel’s roof. Surrounded by the city, the East River, and their friends and family, all the magic and love was felt.

We migrated from an outdoor view to an indoor view for the couple’s nighttime wedding ceremony at Celestine—one of their favorite restaurants. The venue was cozy and intimate, even as the hubbub of the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges burbled below our feet. Giant glass windows on all sides of the restaurant gave the impression that the party was floating on a huge cloud and photos of the ceremony featured plenty of cameos from the New York City skyline.

After Kaitlyn and Luke kicked off the ceremony by toasting adorable cupcakes, there were many smiles and happy tears in the room as people came up to the microphone to give their blessings. Luke and Kaitlyn then read their vows to each other as many more happy tears continued to fall around the room.

As the reception continued later into the night, there was an abundance of laughter, hugs, and beautiful food to fill the room. Family and friends of the couple further regaled us with stories that ranged from sweet and tender to almost scathingly hilarious. With savory bites to fuel the night, people convened on the dance floor to celebrate and enjoy time with their loved ones. A magnificent party set on a magnificent city skyline—Luke and Kaitlyn’s wedding was so beautiful and fun! Congratulations to the happy couple!

Kara & Randy - Brooklyn Winery Wedding

We had the absolute pleasure of capturing Kara and Randy’s beautiful day at Brooklyn Winery! The day began with Kara getting ready at their apartment! Surrounded by her close family, there was a calm and relaxed atmosphere as everyone got ready together. Kara couldn’t a grin of her face. Her gorgeous wedding dress had a low-cut V neck, and embroidery seamed at the shoulders giving it a timeless look. The custom cape was clasped to the back of her shoulders hinting at the design of regal Greek brides.

She also wore a combination of chic traditional and modern accessories. The pearl bracelet on her wrist was a gift from her mother and, her purse belonged to her grandmother Helena. Now, don’t think we’re leaving Randy out – he looked so suave in a tux a vivid shade of cobalt blue. His ice blue tie and charming smile were the only other adornments he needed to make him look amazing.

Clusters of flowers and greenery adorned the ceremony itself; a trail of pale pink rose petals were beautifully scattered along the aisle. Gentle, lilting music from a huge harp drifted from the front of the whole, lifting the atmosphere of the whole wedding. Kara’s brother, who’s also judge, officiated and a lovely and sweet ceremony followed! Randy and Kara left no leaf turned to show their hospitality throughout the day.

Platters upon platters of delicacies were served to the guest as well as an entire section dedicated to a “Brooklyn Boardwalk” themed table at the end of the night On a special note: the Polaroid used for taking the photos was actually vintage!

We had such an amazing time photographing Kara & Randy’s love for each other. A million thanks to them and wishing them all the best!!

Laurel & Andrew - Montauk Club Wedding

Our client blog posts are full of ridiculously happy couples who are thrilled to be finally marrying the love of their lives. Today, join us on a trip to the splendid Montauk Club in Brooklyn to witness the joining of another pair of amazing humans: introducing Andrew and Laurel at their beautiful Brooklyn Wedding.

The journey began at Hotel Indigo where the couple, their bridesmaids and groomsmen were getting ready. We took some truly gorgeous photos of Laurel along with her four gorgeous bridesmaids. The bride’s designer Pronovias dress was classy with netted sleeves and a column of white beads trailing down the back. She also opted to wear Van high tops instead of heels! Who says you cant be comfortable at your wedding?

We learnt that the chic jewelry also had a lot of personal value: the ring on her right hand was actually a gift given to her ten years ago from Andrew. It was a beautiful sign of commitment and Laurel hardly ever takes it off. Moreover, the bronze bracelet adorning her hand was personally handmade by Andrew’s grandfather, Hugh.

Andrew – immaculately dressed in a tux and stylish printed tie – had the first look of his stunning bride at Brooklyn Bridge Park. We took beautiful photos of the couple under the brick arches and more of the whole group by the waterfront. The weather was fabulous and paired with dazzling and happy smiles, we got some great photos.

The couple soon made their way towards The Montauk Club and was joined by their family for the official ceremony. A smile brighter than the sun lit up Andrew’s face as he made his way down the aisle. With a soothing melody of flutes and violins in the background, Andrew and Laurel got married!

The wedding party proceeded downstairs to the reception, where food and music awaited them. Andrew and Laurel cut their delicious, sprinkled, and super Brooklyn wedding cake and we captured some precious memories as they took to the floor for their first dance. From the fabulous rehearsal dinner to the gorgeous reception, we at Wandermore Photography had a fantastic time working with this happy couple. Here’s to a beautiful future and many more amazing memories for Andrew and Laurel ahead.

Jenna & Josh - Mount Tremper Arts Wedding

Jenna and Josh's wedding is one for the books. Not only because it was an absolutely beautiful wedding, but because Jenna is an incredibly close friend of ours (and a great photographer herself!)  and Josh very quickly became a wonderful friend as well. They chose Mount Tremper Art as a way to give back and support artists. She's always putting other people before herself, even for her own wedding!

The day began with both of them getting ready at the venue, Josh at their farm house and Jenna at their cabin. Surrounded by their bridesmaids and groomsmen, they had a super relaxed atmosphere with a touch of "let's do this"! For extra flair, Josh put on crane cuff links and a tie bar to match the handmade crane backdrop at the ceremony, while Jenna put on her beaded floral wedding dress from BHLDN. After getting dressed, Josh went to meet Jenna for their first look in a wildflower field with mountains in the background. It was a gorgeous scene and a perfect place to see each other in an intimate a sweet moment.

Next up was the ceremony! Two close friends played guitars while they walked down the aisle. After reciting their insanely sweet vows for each other, they were officially married! They went outside for a fun bubble exit with all their friends and family, leading to cocktail hour and then their reception in the open tent space. They set out custom designed glasses for each guest to use and take home as gifts, and on each table setting there were handmade cranes to continue with the theme. Following was their first dance, happy toasts, and tons of dancing! It was such a lovely day and we were so honored to have the pleasure of capturing it. Wishing Josh and Jenna all the best wishes in their adventures together!

Mark & Marc - Senate Garage Wedding

When you imagine a perfect match, you should think of Mark and Marc. Everything about them as individuals helps them balance each other out as a couple, a wonderful yin and yang. We started their wedding day by strolling around town, which was super adorable with its small-town charm. We then headed over to Onteora Lake for some gorgeous views and a perfect place to take photos.

Time for the ceremony! Mark & Marc’s wedding was held at Senate Garage in Kingston, NY and it absolutely blew us away. A perfect combination of outdoor ceremony spot, cocktail hour area, and reception space. The Fall leaves had covered up the grass in the ceremony spot with beautiful reds and oranges, and we were all heart eyes for it. The ceremony itself was just so sweet and filled with happy tears. We had to work hard not to cry ourselves! With a super fun exit, we moved into cocktail hour and then in the blink of an eye it was time for a grand entrance at the reception!

The night was filled with beautiful toasts, dancing for days, and delicious food. There were even board games set out that you could play at your table! At the end of the night, Mark and Marc cut their Star Wars themed wedding cake, and of course Mark had to throw on a Darth Vader mask! No other way to do it 😊 It was such a pleasure photographing their wedding and we wish these two all the joy and happiness in the world.

Jessie & Noah - Dobbin Street Wedding

Jessie and Noah’s wedding at Dobbin St. was a day filled with so many happy emotions. From the girls getting ready to the first dance at the reception, feel free to scroll along and experience the magic of Jessie and Noah’s spectacular wedding.

Note: We're always here if you experience sudden emotional tears/a demanding urge to get married afterwards.

The weather was bright and cheery in Williamsburg when Jessie and her girls arrived at the local AirB&B. She was adorned in a gorgeous white dress by Karen Willis Holmes that went with diamond hoop earrings and a natural, classy makeup look. We took some breathtaking shots of Jessie and Roxie (the couple’s adorable pet dog) by the balcony of her room.

Enter the bridesmaids! All 8 gorgeous ladies looked stunning in their matching magenta jumpsuits. After hugs and tears were shared when seeing Jessie in her dress, the group made their way towards McCarren Park, where Noah was eagerly waiting to have his first look with his soon to be wife.

Jessie made a thoroughly enjoyable entrance by coming up behind Noah with Roxie in tow. The happy couple looked absolutely gorgeous together, and Roxie was pretty excited to see her dad looking so dapper! After some couples and bridal party photos, we moved on to the ceremony at the Dobbin St. rooftop. Surrounded on all sides by close friends and family, and under an arch of lush green garlands and flowers with the sun shining bright; it was indeed a beautiful place to continue this new chapter of their story.

The reception was downstairs where guests were treated to a delicious dinner by Hometown BBQ and desserts by Sweethaus. The renowned band Mod Society struck up a tune for the Jessie and Noah’s first dance as a married couple. The rest of the evening was spent in a glorious fashion of eating and dancing. We had an incredible time and are so honored we had the chance to document this special day. Wishing Jessie and Noah never-ending happiness throughout their lives!
