Ilyse & Max - The Sephardic Temple of Cedarhurst Wedding

Imbued with tradition, filled with fun, and overflowing with style—Max and Ilyse’s wedding festivities were a beautiful sight and we had a blast being part of their big day! The whole wedding party was a striking sight to behold in their black attire and Max and Ilyse looked so happy and carefree as they took photos with their favorite people. We made sure to feature Ilyse’s gorgeous bouquet as well because the wrapping on this bouquet contained a special touch—it was actually a piece of cloth taken from Ilyse’s mother’s own wedding veil!

We loved watching the Jewish wedding traditions come to life and seeing the joy on the guests’ faces as the reception continued into the late hours of the night. The spread of refreshments was immense, colorful, fun, and eclectic as it featured snacks served in cocktail glasses, sushi, ice cream sandwiches, fruit, Italian cuisine, and innumerable offerings from the artistry that was the main buffet.

In addition to the delicately crafted morsels of yummy food, the liveliness of the reception, and the overall grandeur of the event, there is no doubt that sometimes the smallest details are the most meaningful ones. One such detail was nestled on Ilyse’s earlobes all day; the earrings she wore were of particular importance because they originally belonged to her Grandmother Dolores and were also worn by Ilyse’s mother, Gail, on her own wedding day. We love seeing these treasures that are passed down through generations!

As the night drew to a close and the smiles mellowed from their six o’clock wattage to their sleepier (but equally ecstatic) nighttime energy, we were so grateful that we got to share Ilyse and Max’s special day with them. It was a wild night filled with dancing, push-up competitions, and many generations of love and heritage. Congratulations to Ilyse and Max!

Lauren & John - Mulino's at Lake Isle Wedding

There’s nothing like a Greek wedding to really bring the energy! We began the day at a local hotel, where there was a happy/nervous excitement. Then a quick hop, skip, and jump to the absolutely gorgeous Untemyer Gardens for Lauren and John’s first look. I mean seriously, those views are insane <3 From there we were off to the church and ended with an amazing reception filled with so much dancing and a room filled with love. Congrats to both of you!! As always, all vendors and locations are listed at the end.

Ashley & Conor - Rockaway River Country Club Wedding

Ashley and Conor’s wedding felt like the perfect reflection of their relationship. On their first date, they met at Stone Street Tavern and instantly clicked. For their proposal, he popped the question at Ashford Castle in Ireland! The wedding followed suit in an almost fairy tale like manner (complete with a Rolls Royce), with a beautiful ceremony leading to a crazy fun reception at Rockaway River Country Club! We especially loved the smores bar (who doesn’t love smores?!) and Ashley’s uncle’s Irish rock band playing at the end of the night! It was such an amazing experience capturing their special day, congrats Ashley and Conor!!

Juztina & Justin - Brooklyn Winery Wedding

You know when you have so much to say but you can’t find the right words to say it? That’s how we felt working with Juztina and Justin. From the very beginning we instantly clicked and as time went on, we just kept finding out how even more awesome they were. Everything from playing a remixed song from Rick and Morty at their wedding, to smiling all the way through their engagement session even though it started to rain, to grabbing pizza and drinks with us right afterwards. There are so many levels to the awesome with these two. Because of this, instead of reading it we’ll just let you see how in love Juztina and Justin are and how amazing their wedding was!

Karla & Jeremy - The Green Building Wedding

Karla and Jeremy are one of the absolute sweetest couples we know. So a little backstory on them. Can you believe they actually went to the school for a year or so before they met - and even ended up in the same class?? They were then introduced by mutual friends and the rest is history.

When they asked us to photograph their wedding we were insanely hyped. Not only did we get to capture such an amazing couple’s special day, but we had a chance to work at The Green Building, a venue we’ve been in love with forever. Their day was filled with such pure love and so many emotions. We haven’t seen a couple go in on dancing that hard in a while and it was awesome! Congrats Karla and Jeremy! Check them out below <3
