Ilyse & Max - Boston Commons Engagement

What makes a road trip all the way from New York to Boston worth it? To be able to work with an amazing and awesome couple like Ilyse & Max!

The trip was quite interesting; It was 75 degrees in NYC when I picked up Michelle in Brooklyn and headed out towards Boston. Once we drove into Connecticut, the temperature started to drop and it also started to rain. As we drove deeper into Connecticut, it started to snow! By the time we got to Boston, it was very windy and pretty freezing!

We met up with Ilyse and Max at Boston Common and instantly had a great connection. They are just SO sweet, romantic, silly and adorable! We walked around Boston Common, Boston Public Garden and through Branch st (where a very angry resident threatened to call the cops on us because she didn't like us photographing around the area, haha).

The session came to an end and it was getting even colder outside by now, especially since the wind had picked up even more. What do we do now to end the evening? We went to Picco, where we all enjoyed ice cream together (it's never too cold for ice cream). Absolutely delicious! It was such a blast working with Ilyse and Max and we can't wait to photograph their wedding this year!

Sharrel & Jonathan - Prospect Park Couples Session

Can these two get any cuter? No way. I had such an amazing time photographing Sharrel and Jonathan! We had originally wanted to shoot by the Brooklyn Botanic Garden but it actually closed as we got there. We made the best of it and wandered around the outside of the garden a bit and through Prospect Park! So much fun!

Mark & Marc - Senate Garage Wedding

When you imagine a perfect match, you should think of Mark and Marc. Everything about them as individuals helps them balance each other out as a couple, a wonderful yin and yang. We started their wedding day by strolling around town, which was super adorable with its small-town charm. We then headed over to Onteora Lake for some gorgeous views and a perfect place to take photos.

Time for the ceremony! Mark & Marc’s wedding was held at Senate Garage in Kingston, NY and it absolutely blew us away. A perfect combination of outdoor ceremony spot, cocktail hour area, and reception space. The Fall leaves had covered up the grass in the ceremony spot with beautiful reds and oranges, and we were all heart eyes for it. The ceremony itself was just so sweet and filled with happy tears. We had to work hard not to cry ourselves! With a super fun exit, we moved into cocktail hour and then in the blink of an eye it was time for a grand entrance at the reception!

The night was filled with beautiful toasts, dancing for days, and delicious food. There were even board games set out that you could play at your table! At the end of the night, Mark and Marc cut their Star Wars themed wedding cake, and of course Mark had to throw on a Darth Vader mask! No other way to do it 😊 It was such a pleasure photographing their wedding and we wish these two all the joy and happiness in the world.

Jessie & Noah - Dobbin Street Wedding

Jessie and Noah’s wedding at Dobbin St. was a day filled with so many happy emotions. From the girls getting ready to the first dance at the reception, feel free to scroll along and experience the magic of Jessie and Noah’s spectacular wedding.

Note: We're always here if you experience sudden emotional tears/a demanding urge to get married afterwards.

The weather was bright and cheery in Williamsburg when Jessie and her girls arrived at the local AirB&B. She was adorned in a gorgeous white dress by Karen Willis Holmes that went with diamond hoop earrings and a natural, classy makeup look. We took some breathtaking shots of Jessie and Roxie (the couple’s adorable pet dog) by the balcony of her room.

Enter the bridesmaids! All 8 gorgeous ladies looked stunning in their matching magenta jumpsuits. After hugs and tears were shared when seeing Jessie in her dress, the group made their way towards McCarren Park, where Noah was eagerly waiting to have his first look with his soon to be wife.

Jessie made a thoroughly enjoyable entrance by coming up behind Noah with Roxie in tow. The happy couple looked absolutely gorgeous together, and Roxie was pretty excited to see her dad looking so dapper! After some couples and bridal party photos, we moved on to the ceremony at the Dobbin St. rooftop. Surrounded on all sides by close friends and family, and under an arch of lush green garlands and flowers with the sun shining bright; it was indeed a beautiful place to continue this new chapter of their story.

The reception was downstairs where guests were treated to a delicious dinner by Hometown BBQ and desserts by Sweethaus. The renowned band Mod Society struck up a tune for the Jessie and Noah’s first dance as a married couple. The rest of the evening was spent in a glorious fashion of eating and dancing. We had an incredible time and are so honored we had the chance to document this special day. Wishing Jessie and Noah never-ending happiness throughout their lives!

Jeremy & Julie- Manhattan Yacht Elopement

This is definitely one of the most unique elopements we've photographed, mainly because it was a proposal and elopement combined! Jeremy and Julie had discussed in the past that if they were ever going to get married, that it would all happen at once. Jeremy decided to run with the idea, and set up an extremely special day on the Manhattan Yacht. Family and friends came in from all over, and hid on the bottom level of the boat. As Julie closed her eyes waiting for the surprise, each person came out one by one and gave her a flower. Last but not least was Jeremy, with both a flower and a ring! After she said yes, it was announced to everyone (the family and friends had no idea) that this proposal is turning into a wedding! Preparations were done in the blink of an eye, and they had a beautiful ceremony at the front of the boat. It was such an honor and pleasure working with such sweet people. Thank you for having us be a part of your amazing day!

Samantha & Joe - Bad Seed Cider Wedding

Every single bit of Sam and Joe's wedding makes us look back and sigh happily. They held their wedding at Bad Seed Cider in Hudson Valley, and just this fact on its own is pretty awesome to us, as we're hard cider lovers. At the start of the day we walked in to a super relaxed and chilled out atmosphere. The girls smiling happily, the guys drinking and have a good time. Guess what? Those good vibes lasted all day long! So many of the wedding day details were made by hand, with love and care. Sam wore her grandmother's pearl bracelet and she wrapped her dad's unicorn necklace around her bouquet. Little sentimental touches like these really add to the wedding day as a whole. Besides for being married by the orchard, they also had a gourmet wood fire pizza truck making a range of pies for the guests- an absolutely delicious addition to the wedding! Also, holy moly that bouquet. What a perfect day, thank you so much Sam and Joe for giving us the pleasure of photographing your wedding.

Heather & Paul- Brooklyn Winery Wedding

We had such an amazing time at Heather & Paul's wedding! After meeting in high school and spending the next 12 years together, their story continued on to it's next chapter. The wedding day began at The William Vale, where there was a really relaxed and fun vibe. They had their first look on the rooftop and shared such a special moment! We then headed over to Brooklyn Winery, where they had an absolutely gorgeous ceremony and reception. Thank you so much for such a wonderful day Heather and Paul, and to the amazing vendor team we worked with! Check out the team at the end of the photos.
