We had the absolutely amazing opportunity to fly out to California for Michael and Angela's wedding! Playful energy fueled this beautiful wedding and the smiles only grew wider as the day went on. The morning was spent taking photos at a local wooded area near the Mountain Terrace venue. We even got to stop by and say "hi" to some horses! In addition to Angela’s beautiful dress and Michael’s dapper attire for the day, the bride was also wearing a special pair of earrings. For her wedding day, Angie chose to wear the earrings that were the first jewelry gift that Michael had given her! After taking some romantic shots of these lovebirds, we were all giggling as they started letting loose their inner children. It’s impossible to frown when swinging on swings and getting piggyback rides!
As the sunshine and clear skies persisted through the outdoor ceremony, we saw the day’s positive energy reflected in the faces of the guests. The gorgeous Redwoods were towering behind, providing a stunning backdrop. Family and friends could be seen making the most of the event by pushing each other on the swing and playing games like Giant Jenga and Connect Four. With the harpist’s tranquil melodies flowing in the event’s background, celebrations continued into an evening reception that was made bright by strings of lights hanging above the seating area. The playful atmosphere of the day even touched the bite-sized offerings for guests to munch—tiny burgers, spring roll bites, and small pastries. To top off the night, they lit a bonfire and offered everybody a taste of childhood (a.k.a. all the fixings for making freshly roasted, deliciously gooey smores)! Yum! There’s nothing like sitting around a fire and watching the sparks fly. We couldn’t be happier for these two! Check them out below:
